Hi, it’s me, Josie!

Therapy is vulnerable, seeking out change is scary. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore patterns and cycles they want to change. My goal is for each person to feel truly known and seen as they work towards freedom from past restraints and barriers. I believe everyone is worthy of a healthy and fulfilling life and feel honored to walk alongside those who are making meaningful and lasting change.

My Approach

My intent is to work myself out of a job. We will work together to identify treatment goals, then work towards you achieving them. Once that is done, therapy is over unless new targets are identified. I want you to “graduate” therapy. If you want a safe space to vent each week or someone who will not challenge you, I’m not your person.

Models of Therapy

I take an integrative approach using evidence-based models, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT,) Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT,) Solutions Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. By blending these models, I am able to tailor sessions to each client’s unique experiences and support lasting emotional and relational change.
